"Need
Help With
Your Internet
Marketing Presence?"
Hi,
Do you remember "Build it and they
will come?"
When it comes to the internet, that's a lot
of baloney. The days of just "building a web page" are
gone.
Have you spent money
on a web site that produced no bottom
line results?
Have you ever
noticed how internet things that sound really easy turn out to
be NOT SO EASY?
Having a solid, high selling web presence is
one of those things. There are horror stories about people that
spend thousand and thousand of dollars to develop a great
looking web site that produces no results in terms of sales...
and that's because the "Build It And They Will Come"
approach just doesn't work any more. You can't just
get a web guy to throw together an attractive web site and
expect that's enough to become a recognized presence on the
internet... and it sure won't make sales.
Even Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is
starting to not work that great. Why? Because there are so many
different web sites today in your target market that the
competition is fierce and if your web site is new it probably
won't even get noticed no matter how good it is. The old
strategy of just finding the right keywords and putting them on
a web page only works for very narrowly defined target
markets.
In today's internet, the real challenges
are...
Developing a comprehensive internet
strategy for attracting viewers, getting customers,
making sales, and making more sales
Creating a compelling web site that gets
viewers to actually take an action like buying your
product or contacting you
Getting people to see your web site among
the millions of other web sites
Building followup trainings to ensure
customer satisfaction with the products and
services they buy
Designing email sales campaigns that get
customers to buy from you again
Ensuring that the entire web presence
business plan is profitable
It all starts with
the right planning...
Building an effective
web site has got to make financial sense. There's not much
point in building a web site that doesn't end up making you
money or effectively getting your message across. It's
critically important to do the up front homework to know
how many people are looking for you, your product, or
your type of service... and you've got to know what your web competition
is. How many other people are trying to get
those customers to look at their web pages... and what are they
saying to get those customers. It like having a retail store
and driving around to see what your competition in the
neighborhood is. How do your competitors get
customers to come in the door? Once
you know that we can plan your web site
together to effectively attract your target
market.

Winning and Losing Internet Strategies
Choose the
right kind of web site...
It may surprise you to
discover that most people build web sites that are lousy for
doing the job they are intended to do. There are a few basic
types of web sites.
Electronic Brochures - as the name
implies, these are sales brochures put on the
internet. They have great graphics and are
extremely attractive. But they're expensive to
produce and work best when you contact
your customers in person first. They
don't do such a great job of actually selling a
product or service to people who find you on the
internet. They're really all about image.
Sales Sites - place emphasis
on getting people who find your site through the
internet's elaborate search capabilities to take
some action like buying your product or contacting
you.
Catalogs - contain a number of
different products, similar to a catalog you
receive in the mail. These are great if you already
have an established brand that people look for.
Blogs - are most effective when
you want to communicate with your target market on
a regular basis. They're kind of like a regular
newsletter. They are very effective for social
marketing.
Libraries - are focused on
providing education and information to their
readers.
Social Sites - Today it's possible
to not have a traditional web site and just market
directly on social sites like Facebook.

about Basic Site Types
The heart of an
effective web site is good copy writing...
Look, it's simple...
language is the only way you've got to communicate with people
whether your using text, audio, or video... or even talking to
them face to face. The more effective the language is
at getting your message across, the more effective your web
site will be at getting people to buy something or contact
you.
A basic fact of the internet is that
Content Is King. People come to the internet
to get information, and if you provide the best information you
will win. So've you got to design your web site to provide good
information to potential customers.

Becoming a Content King
It's all about
video...
The single most effective thing you can do
on your web site is to use video. Video has 4 huge
advantages.
It keeps people's attention. On the average people
decide whether or not to read a web site in 7
seconds or less. Video dramatically increases that
time. There is more time for you to get their
attention and deliver a message that will keep them
on your web site.
People prefer video to text. It's easier to watch
that it is to read.
You can demonstrate your product or service on
video. This means they can "kick the tires" even
over the internet.
You can establish a face to face trust relationship
between you and your customers without ever
actually meeting them.
Bottom line... you've got to have video on
your site. Sites with effective video win over sites without
video. And effective doesn't mean a Hollywood production. It
means a simple authentic video that gets your message
to the customer as if they were talking to you in
person.
Plus, video is one of the most effective
ways to get found in the search engines, and you've got to get
people to your web site!
If people
don't see your site you won't get new
customers...
The whole point in creating a web site is
getting people to see it. Let me tell you a few secrets...
Just building a web site won't get your site
viewed!
Pay Per Click is usually too expensive unless
you've got money to spend!
Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is dying a slow
death!
That means that the ordinary ways of getting
your web site looked at don't work as well as they used to.
Today two of the most effective techniques are:
Riding the coat tails of other highly popular sites
like YouTube.
Getting recommendations in the social networking
sites.
Take
a few
minutes to

some possibilities...
